Our Pre-K program is designed to prepare children for a confident and successful transition into kindergarten. Through a structured yet engaging learning environment, we focus on building strong academic foundations while also nurturing social, emotional, and creative development.
Our program utilizes the Abeka Curriculum for phonics, reading, writing, and math. This research-based curriculum helps children develop early literacy and numeracy skills through consistent practice, hands-on learning, and age-appropriate instruction. By the end of the program, students gain the skills and confidence needed to enter kindergarten ready to learn.
Kindergarten readiness is a central focus of our Pre-K classroom. Throughout the year, children participate in structured lessons, assessments, and enrichment activities designed to strengthen important skills such as listening, problem-solving, independence, and classroom routines.
In addition to daily learning, our Pre-K students enjoy a variety of special events and experiences throughout the year. These activities help create lasting memories while enriching the learning experience. Some of our highlights include:
Pumpkin patch field trip
School picture day
Holiday events
Food drive
A float in the Halloween parade
Pre-K Prom celebration
Student art shows
Academic assessments to track progress
Guided tours of the local kindergarten building to help students feel comfortable with the transition to elementary school
To support our students throughout the day, our program also provides breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, ensuring children stay energized and focused.
Our goal is to provide a warm, encouraging environment where children develop a love of learning and the skills they need to thrive in kindergarten and beyond.
The program accepts children ages 4-5 who are not yet eligible to attend kindergarten. Students turning five before August 1st of the academic year are considered kindergarten eligible. Our program is open Monday-Friday from 6:00am-5:30pm.
